The Seven Rivers Of Summer

Japan 1939. An Australian cargo ship arrived in a Japanese port days before Britain declared war on Germany. First Officer Jackie Young’s ship is held in port for a pre-arranged short period of repair.

Jackie’s unexpected meeting with Summer, a young Japanese woman, soon escalates to a special love.  But their relationship is put to the test by Summer’s disapproving father, murders and espionage. Meanwhile, the Japanese military is trying to keep their plan for Pacific domination secret.

From very different backgrounds in a world that is unrecognisable, Jackie and Summer must find a way through the mayhem if their love is to survive.
