A keen traveller and art lover, Valerie Greenfield holds a number of qualifications and started her career as a teaching assistant. She then worked in marketing communications, care and as a dental nurse. She also spent some time as an interior designer, not being afraid to get stuck in, doing quite a bit of the physical part of the job herself.
As well as holistic therapies and alternative treatments, Valerie’s interests are gardening, upholstery, pottery, enamel and stained glass. She also enjoys cooking and trying new recipes.
Recently Valerie and her husband started refurbishing a rural property and are soon to open a teapot museum that will hopefully help reinvigorate a small, remote village.
“Mouse Tales” is Valerie’s debut children’s book, illustrated by herself. She hopes these stories will help a lot of children to discover the real world around us.
