Solomon Xia is a writer who believes that stories give life to thoughts and experiences that might otherwise remain unseen. Born in the United Kingdom in 1977 and now based in Hong Kong, he began writing while studying accountancy at Birmingham City University as a way to explore ideas beyond the limits of everyday life. Through storytelling, he brings together his ideas to convey the perfect picture of what he believes should be seen through reading, giving form to his thoughts.
His work is shaped by a fascination with morality and human nature, inspired by an early love for Aesop’s Fables. He is the author of Borrowed Air Borrowed Land and In the Darkness of Redemption, both of which reflect his interest in storytelling as a means for seeking emotion, reflection, and purpose.
Today, Solomon continues to write, guided by the belief that stories, whether simple or complex, can offer profound insight, connection, and a unique lens into the human psyche.
