Ross’ creative writing education began when he studied screenwriting under the guidance of a Hollywood script assessor and a former Prisoner: Cell Block H top dog. He has a couple of degrees in creative writing and literature, and his short stories have been published in Australia and the US. Ross is a past winner of the Verandah Literary Award.
Ross has had a variety of jobs over the years, but they were all incredibly, mind-numbingly boring. Best to skip over them. He did, though, have fun working in a bookshop along the Great Ocean Road.
Ross lives and works in Victoria, Australia, with his partner and the world’s friendliest cat. When not writing, he’s either reading or thinking about what to write next.
