I was born and educated in South Yorkshire, my education eventually enabling me to work in various cities culminating in living in the countryside of Kent. The experiences gained during these ‘wanderings’ has given me a wide perspective on life, no doubt forming the backbone of my present literary interests.
‘A Better Life’ is my first book, I have previously written poetry but find that it has its limitations in development. I hope that novel writing will stimulate me sufficiently to continue into an ever increasing literary genre!
Patricia Blakeman passed away on the 29th of June 2023 after battling cancer. Pat touched the hearts of many and will be sadly missed. We are honoured to have published her wonderful story ‘A Better Life.’
