Meagan Diehl was born in Newport News, Virginia. She has a degree in English from Southern Wesleyan University in Central, South Carolina. She is the author of The Blue Hat Detective Agency series and has won several awards throughout her writing career.
Meagan spends her free time reading, writing, and watching crime TV shows and The Office. She also has a love of history, especially Virginia history, and considers Fort Monroe in Hampton, Virginia to be her favourite place to visit.
Meagan continues to reside in Hampton Roads, Virginia with her husband, three children, and their cats and dogs.
