Lucy Richardson is an artist, illustrator, and soon‑to‑be author who was born in Sheffield, England, in 1998. She has always loved illustrated picture books, and growing up dyslexic, she understands the importance of storytelling through imagery. Her goal is to encourage more children to read and to support those growing up with learning disabilities.
Lucy studied fashion design in Marbella, Spain. After university, she travelled with her lifelong friend and teddy bear, Curly Mo. While working as a full‑time artist in the summer of 2025, she decided to begin her children’s book dreams with Curly Mo at the heart of them.
Lucy is currently working on more adventures featuring Curly Mo.
