John Addison was born in Victoria, London in 1953. His early love of film, theatre and books was influenced by his father and family, who created iconic props for well-known films and TV series. Amongst them was Dr Who’s original ‘Tardis’, ‘The Triffids’, and scale models for such films as ‘The Bridge on the River Kwai.’ John’s family also assembled the stage sets at the Royal Court Theatre in London, which made for a very varied childhood when meeting stars of the stage and screen.
In the early 1970s, John entered the I.T. industry and spent the next forty three years working with large corporate companies on their financial and security systems.
A father of five girls, and a grandfather of six, he has now retired and is living in Worthing on the south coast of England.
