J.B. Kovacs currently lives in Spain and has worked in various fields before settling on being a diving instructor and professional author. He’s been writing since he was 12 years old and finished his first novel at the age of 19. Since then he has self-published a spy thriller and is working on a range of other projects. Zari and the Citadel is his third novel and first officially published work demonstrating his love for the Fantasy genre.
He takes inspiration from books, movies and TV shows as well as the many countries previously visited and often draws from history and nature for ideas. He closely follows geopolitical as well as archaeological news to inspire his worlds and likes characters to have an extensive backstory, striving to create well-constructed lore.
