Harriet G. Fry was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is a Vietnam-Era veteran of the United States Navy. She holds a Master’s Degree in Education and spent many years as a Special Education teacher with the School District of Philadelphia.
As a freelance writer, her articles and essays, ranging from how-to and hobbies, to travel, inspirational, and human interest, have appeared in a variety of magazines and newspapers in the United States. Harriet served on the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia Writers’ Conference for over twenty years and was its president for a term in the early 2000s.
Widely traveled throughout the United States and abroad, Harriet enjoys attending live theatre, and swimming for exercise. She admits to one guilty pleasure: anything chocolate!
Harriet resides in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. Rum Raisin Rendezvous debuts as her first work in the sweet romance genre.
