Gary Baxendale is a drama teacher living in Halifax, West Yorkshire. After completing a degree in Theatre Arts at Bretton Hall College, University of Leeds, he went on to undertake a PGCE in English and Drama. In 1999 he began teaching Drama at Ryburn Valley High School, a large comprehensive school in West Yorkshire and soon after became the Head of Department. Gary is still teaching Drama at Ryburn and still has the same passion for his subject. He is also an examiner for the WJEC Eduqas which he has been doing since 2005.
Gary is the author of 20 New World Plays and Monologues published in 2021.
