Fay Cavagin and Lauren Armstrong are two sisters from Newcastle Upon Tyne.
Fay is a university lecturer who has worked as a teacher in different settings for the past ten years, ranging from Early Years through to Higher Education. Fay has research interests in inclusive practice and the education of children with special educational needs and disabilities. Writing a story started as a project to create texts that could be used to creatively deliver curriculums in a range of settings with children.
Lauren is a primary school teacher who has taught in schools for the last four years. She is currently in Year 2 and loves working in Key Stage 1. Prior to teaching, Lauren was a teaching assistant for three years. Her favourite part of the day is cosying up with her class for a good story, they love getting lost in a tale and discussing the details of the text. After years of reading stories to children, she was really excited to write one herself.
