DC King graduated from Dalhousie University with a degree in Psychology. She quickly followed that up with a Certificate in Human Resources at Saint Mary’s University. DC has spent most of her working career as a Payroll Specialist with the Provincial Government of NS, and then leadership team at Halifax Municipality.
DC shares a love of sci-fi, supernatural, paranormal, D&D and video games (Final Fantasy, Destiny, etc.) with her husband. After her husband became seriously ill in 2021, she decided life is short and unpredictable, and that it was time to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a novelist. This is her first novel, but she hopes to publish the whole series. DC lives with her husband, two children and dog, Echo, in Nova Scotia.
