Claire Voet is an English author born in Gosport across the shores of Portsmouth Harbour. She went to school in Portchester, near Fareham. In her adult years she travelled and lived abroad, meeting her Dutch husband in the south of Spain. They have three children, her youngest still lives at home.
Claire started writing in 2010 and has since then written and published a number of books to include The Ghost of Bluebell Cottage, The Return, Captain Hawkes and Echoes In The Mist. Inspired by history, Claire writes mainly historical romance combined with the paranormal.
Following her passion for the subject of paranormal, in 2020, Claire studied parapsychology accredited by the CMA and ABC. Claire is currently studying English and Scottish History to further enrich her historical novels.
