C. M. Protheroe is a retired primary school teacher. She has spent many happy years in the classroom and has found great joy watching children develop and grow.
When she’s not creating tales for young readers, C. M. Protheroe enjoys reading, especially crime and mystery stories that blend wit and warmth. As well as enjoying creative activities, she is also a cheerleading and dance coach with her own competitive squad. With a background as a former ballroom dancing teacher, her love for dance in all its forms allows her to continue to teach children of all ages and offer opportunities to adults to participate in cheerleading and dance.
Living in the Rhondda Valleys, she is immensely proud of her Welsh heritage. C. M. loves to spend time with her four children and six adorable grandchildren.
