Andria Marston started writing imaginative fiction to escape the trials of commuting whilst working as a public sector consultant. 80% of her novel, Perdurare was written on the daily train journey from York to Sheffield. Andria is inspired by the English countryside, the United Kingdom’s history, myths, traditions, and the possibilities presented by alternate realities.
Andria also writes short stories and comic poetry. In 2012 her work was included in a poetry anthology published by Forward Poetry for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
Andria Marston hails from Surrey. She now lives in Yorkshire with her husband where they enjoy supporting wildlife, antique collecting, allotment gardening, and amateur bee-keeping.
