Andrew Clark lives and works in rural North Yorkshire. He has a life-long connection to the county, although his family hails from the west of Scotland. His early career was in nursing as a Registered General Nurse and after 7 years nursing, he joined the Police Service in which he had a successful career specialising in covert policing. Now retired, he works in a local independent bookshop.
Andrew enjoys walking with his family and dogs, has a passion for books, art and playing musical instruments. His inspiration to write comes from his experiences in nursing and policing and his gained insights into human nature. His crime fiction offers an honest and unique insight based on personal experience.
