I have lived all my life in the Valleys of South Wales, where my love of writing first began. Over the years, I have written many short rhyming stories for children, with several being read across the world.
My early life was spent in the care of a Doctor Barnardo’s children’s home, and it was there that I discovered my passion for storytelling. Later, I served a spell in the RAF, which gave me valuable insight into military life, both past and present.
The majority of my working years were spent in retail shopkeeping, an experience that taught me how to speak kindly, deal politely with people, and understand the importance of patience and respect.
Now retired, I can devote my time fully to writing—drawing on the experiences I know best and the lessons life has taught me.
