Weird Australia
From ghosts that haunt lonely convict-era buildings, to the mythical bunyip that lurks in lonely waterways, and alien big cats that prowl dense forested mountains. Add to these the Yowie, a huge hairy man reputed to live in these primaeval, forested climes, somewhat like the Bigfoot of American legend. Could these incredulous creatures exist?
As well as the previous, we can add the elusive Tasmanian Tiger or thylacine, plus numerous sightings of bizarre sea monsters, oversized prehistoric sharks and even UFOs, as well as inexplicable weather events such as raining frogs, to strange places shrouded in mystery where people simply disappear without a trace or meet a tragic end.
Australia is a land of desolate sweeping plains, isolated beaches, remote, lonely lakes, rugged mountain ranges covered in thick forests where humans rarely visit, in fact, may have never visited. It is a place full of dangerous creatures; however, these do not concern us as, in this book, we will examine what can only be described as strange and unusual reports of creatures, places and phenomena that are alleged to exist in this ancient ocean-bound continent.
Numerous eyewitness reports seem to suggest that, yes, these strange creatures and other anomalies could possibly exist. However, this is up to the reader to decide.
