Alisa Guttadauro was born in Staten Island, New York, and developed a love for creative writing during middle school. She loves writing children’s stories that are fun, humorous, and also involve a lesson. Alisa feels that spending quality time with children is important, and what better way is there than to sit somewhere cozy and read together.
When she is not writing, Alisa works as a school crossing guard for her local police department. She loves doing something that helps the community, and enjoys talking with the parents and children. When she has downtime, Alisa likes to read, knit, and spend time with her family. In the warmer months she enjoys going fishing with her husband, and competing with him to see who catches the most or biggest fish.
Alisa looks forward to writing her next children’s book, and to see what adventure her imagination takes her on next.
