Eating Disorders Self-Solved
£8.95
When I was in my late teens, I managed to solve my own eating disorders (anorexia and then bulimia). I solved my eating disorders as one would solve a mathematical equation involving psychological variables.
To recover, I did not need to change who I was. Rather, I taught myself how to use my personal strengths (the ones that I had used to drive myself to the depths of my illness) to ‘turn the bus around’ and get even better at putting it behind me. In doing this, I discovered that you can regain that same carefree attitude towards food, that you had as a child.
I have broken my recovery down into 9 easy-to-follow steps interspersed with insightful activities that can be followed by anyone, irrespective of the type of eating disorder they have.
This book does not cut across any other recovery methods. Instead, it allows readers to incorporate other methods as building blocks into their own recovery journey.
By the time you reach the last page in this book, you will have designed your very own roadmap to recovery!
